Visit to Vie de Miracles Church: Evangelism and Solidarity in Tenga

On Sunday, June 19, 2026, ARM Burundi continued its evangelism program with a visit to Vie de Miracles Church, in the Tenga neighborhood of Ntahangwa commune. Carried by a twofold mission — preaching the word of God and supporting local development through mutual aid — the congregation now numbers more than 130 active members.

The delegation, led by the National Director, Mrs. Vestine KANYAMUNEZA, was warmly welcomed by the community.

A Message of Faith and Encouragement

Invited to address the congregation during the Sunday service, Mrs. KANYAMUNEZA thanked the faithful for their welcome and encouraged them to persevere in their faith. The sermon was then delivered by Mr. Patrick NKUNZIMANA, who drew on 1 Thessalonians 5:12-24 to call on the Christians to support their leaders through prayer, to love one another, and to maintain a grateful heart in all circumstances.

Tangible Gifts for the Community

At the close of the service, ARM Burundi distributed 40 pairs of shoes, 59 Lacoste garments, and 20 T-shirts to the adults and young people of the congregation. In a community that remains vulnerable, these gifts go far beyond a material gesture: they embody God’s love, strengthen trust in the Church, and contribute to the dignity of the recipients, while laying the groundwork for sustainable community development.

In addition, ARM Burundi provided the church with a sound system, having noted that this equipment was lacking. This gift is intended to support the church’s worship activities and enhance its communication and outreach within the community.

We would like to express our deep gratitude to our partners, notably YWAM and Team Hope, whose support and generosity made these gifts possible.

Strengthened Fellowship

The day unfolded in a harmonious atmosphere, filled with joy and gratitude, further strengthening the bond between ARM Burundi and the Christian community of Tenga. This event once again illustrates our organization’s commitment to combining evangelism with concrete acts of solidarity.
