
Distribution of Medical Equipment to the ACVS Center in Ngozi
On Thursday, April 3, 2025, ARM Burundi, in partnership with Solidarité Protestante de Belgique, organized a ceremony for the distribution of medical supplies worth 56 million Burundian francs to the health structures of the ACVS project in Ngozi (Christian Action for People Living with HIV/AIDS).
The event was attended by local project leaders, local administrative authorities, and public health representatives, including the Permanent Secretary of the Ngozi Commune Administrator and the Head of the Ngozi Health District. This initiative is part of a broader effort aimed at improving health infrastructure and enhancing the quality of care.
After a warm and dignified welcome for the guests, followed by a guided tour of the ACVS facilities in Ngozi led by the project manager, the distribution of donations took place. The supplies included a variety of medical equipment such as:

Laboratory devices (30 TS Hematology Analyzer, S30 Spectrophotometer, and Centrifuge),

Reagents,
-
Medicines, and
-
Administrative materials (Invoicing Books and Forms).

During their speeches, the administrative and health authorities expressed their deep gratitude to ARM Burundi and its partners. They highlighted several important key points:
- Improvement in the quality of care: With these new supplies, healthcare workers will be better equipped to provide quality care to patients—a crucial step for public health—while also increasing patient treatment capacity.
- Management of the equipment: They urged and emphasized the importance of maintaining these supplies properly to maximize their impact and ensure long-term benefits.
It’s important to emphasize that ACVS Ngozi aspires to become a Health Center. In this endeavor, the District Health Chief of Ngozi has committed to supporting them through the necessary procedures. He has also promised to provide them with a qualified Laboratory Technician to ensure optimal use of the equipment made available to them.
This act of solidarity marks a significant step toward a more resilient and effective healthcare system, with the ultimate goal of transforming ACVS Ngozi into a certified Health Center—better equipped to serve the community and secure a healthier future.
