AFRICAN REVIVAL MINISTRIES

African Revival Ministries(ARM) is a Christian organisation with the legal status of an International Non-Governmental Organisation (INGO). ARM-Burundi is part of a network of NGOs with the same name ARM, based in the UK. ARM started its activities in Burundi in 1989, but it applied for and obtained its accreditation in August 1996 from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation.

Vision

ARM envisions the spiritual, mental and physical transformation of mankind by leading the underprivileged population to achieve a dignified, autonomous, healthy and equilibrated standard of living.

Mission

ARM pursues the mission of proclaiming the Kingdom of God through the teaching of the word of God, sustainable development, social and humanitarian actions especially in favour of the poor, vulnerable and marginalized groups of the society.

VALUES AND PRINCIPLES

The guiding values and principles of WARC are four in number:

Life of prayer and faith centred on Jesus Christ

We are followers of Jesus. Prayer and faith in Jesus are our strength in pursuing our mission. We seek to identify with Christ in his compassion and actions for the poor and desperate

Integrity and honesty

We are guided by integrity and honesty. Our words and actions do not contradict each other in professional and private life.

Charity and compassion

Motivated by God's love, we provide humanitarian and emergency aid to people in extreme poverty or affected by disaster.

Transparency

We are accountable in the financial management and recording of our organisation's funds.
